Climate of Fear Part 52
A house candidate publicly admits she stole her opponents lawn signs because she did not like them:
House candidate Deb Eddy was unrepentant Friday in the wake of Republican Party charges that she'd violated the law by taking their campaign signs, which accuse her of backing higher taxes.
Republican officials have filed a police complaint and, if these charges are true, it appears Eddy may have committed at least one felony.

Any comments on the 11 people in Orange County charged with fraudulently changing people's party registration to Democrat? Just wondering.

If you show me a link I will post on it. I avoid thinking about Orange County unless it has to do with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

I avoid going to Orange County since all of the houses look the same. Click on my name for the link. I think you should also check the situation with Tan Nguyen who sent letters to immigrants (legal or illegal) telling them not to vote because they could end up in jail.
This text is a link to that story.
I really wanted to point these out since we all need to recognize that there are dirty deals on both sides.

Unfortunately, the link in your name goes to a Times registration page.
I am opposed to dirty tricks on all sides and, although I have not seen the actual text of the letter that guy sent out, if the reports of it are true and it gave false information he should be prosecuted.
I would hope of all issues fair and accurate voting would cross all party lines, but there are a lot of people on both sides who either cheat themselves or are for situations that are conducive to inaccurate votes/fraud. With liberals this tends to be fraud with same day registration/lack of ID and with conservatives it tends to be badly run voting purges and reliance on electronic voting that leaves no paper trails. Both sides are probably equally guilty of things like stealing signs and not funding local elections systems adequately.
