Harper's Prints Cartoons
The liberal Harper's Magazine published the Muhammad cartoons in its June issue about controversial cartoons. I read the article and it had a decent take on the issue. While Borders was afraid to sell the Free Inquiry Magazine when it published them, it sold this issue of Harper's. However, the largest Canadian book store chain, Indigo Books and Music, did refuse to sell it. CBC reports:
The largest book retailer in the country has pulled all copies of the June edition of Harper's Magazine because it reprints a series of cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad, according to a media report.Indigo Books and Music said in a memo that it decided to take the magazine off the stands because it may be offensive to Muslims.
I said a while ago that I would republish a cartoon everytime I heard about someone caving on this issue so here is another one.

I am offended...by the incredible lack of comedy. I was way more entertained by the comment of how "explosive" Saudi Arabia's World Cup team could be.

Hard to believe so many people got so upset over a silly little cartoon. I'm glad you reprinted it. I'm a little shocked a Canadian company would pull Harper's magazine though. They're usually against such behavior.
