Night Pictures

I tried doing some night photography with my camera and so far the results have been about what you would expect for a camera not designed for long distance night time picture taking. Hopefully in the next few days I will have time to take some good dusk time pictures around the neighborhood, but here is the one night picture that was ok after I messed with it some.

UIW Campus Christmas lights? Pool and clock tower? It is best if you have a small tripod. If you don't have a tripod, just set the camera down on a flat surface. The real secret though is to use the timer at night! Even the jostling of the camera when taking the photo without the timer can cause night time blur. So just depress the button and let the timer take over!

Good guess.

I took this picture by sticking the camera lense through a chain link fence on a catwalk, so unfortunately I could not put it on a flat surface or use a tripod.

If I have time I will try to get more pictures of the lights, but my schedule is hectict the next few days.
