Presbyterian Church

The Presbyterian church recently singled out one country in the world for divestment because of what it claims are human rights violations. Lets try to guess which country it is.

Was it China which forces pregnant women to abort their children, has occupied Tibet for decades, and executes, tortures, and imprisons those who practice Christianity and want democracy? Nope.

Was it Iran which is trying to develop nuclear weapons, has a long history of exporting terrorism, hangs 16 year old girls for having sex, and like China executes, tortures, and imprisons those who practice Christianity and want democracy? Guess again.

Is it Sudan where government sponsored militia groups are committing genocide against black Christians because of their race and religious beliefs? No.

Is it Cuba which also has a history of exporting terrorism and like China and Iran executes, tortures, and imprisons those who practice Christianity and want democracy? No again.

Is it Russia, which has a history of brutalizing Chechnia and imprisons reporters that criticize the government? Is it Saudi Arabia, which has a history of funding radical Islamic groups and has produced many terrorist and like Iran, Cuba, and China executes, tortures, and imprisons those who practice Christianity and want democracy? Is it South Korea, is it Angola, is it Egypt, is it France, is it Belarus? No.

Lets take one more guess.

Is it Israel? Yes. It seems like it is always Israel.
