Fantastic Four
Fox News just announced that the Fantastic Four movie will be released next July 4. I was a Marvel Comics fan when I was teenager, with Spiderman being my favorite. I have mixed reactions to this as the Fantastic Four was my least favorite of the big Marvel names. The Thing was really cool and the Human Torch was OK, but the other main members never did much for me. This was especially true when they rotated out other members like the She-Hulk and that female version of The Thing. Which is kind of weird since other team comic books got better when they rotated out members and this prevented them from getting too stale.
My only hope is that none of the Marvel movies of recent years were bad (not like the later Superman and Batman movies) and most were pretty good, although I have not seen Spiderman 2 yet, everyone I talked to said it was good. The main problem I had with the Fantastic Four was the villains. They were always out in weird environments fighting aliens and other villains that were not that interesting for me, although Galacticus and Silver Surfer were OK. Dr. Doom was the lone exception of a really cool villain (he is the villain in the movie). He had his own little country and everything.
Oh, and Dan Rather should be fired.
