AP Boos

One story being sort of ignored because of the CBS forgery scandal is the one about the AP booing story. Powerline has a good summary here. When Clinton was first diagnosed with his recent heart problems, Bush announced at a rally that Clinton was in the hospital. He then wished him well. The AP reported that the crowed booed and that Bush did not stop them. The problem was the crowd did not boo. The AP then changed the story, but did not offer a correction or say how this mistake/lie was made. They also started switching the bylines around. So far the AP refuses to say what happened and who is responsible for the lie.

Oh, and Dan Rather should be fired.
